Briefing..

Hey ppl! It's 8 more days to CF CAMP 2009! Are you excited about it?

Here are some details which might help you with your packing of clothes and stuff and also, to help you enjoy CF Camp 2009 to the fullest!

CHECKLIST
1.Clothes- please wear at least knee-length pants for ALL sessions
· Long pants- at least two pairs
· Dark-coloured T-shirts for wet activities (IMPORTANT)
· Jacket or sweater – the hall is air-conditioned)
· Enough clothes for 4 days, taking into account clothes for jungle-trekking and rafting
· DON’T FORGET YOUR UNDERGARMENTS

2.Toiletries
· Soap
· Shampoo
· Toothbrush and toothpaste
· Towel
· Hangers
· Anything else you use in the bathroom (facial cream, pore cleanser…)

3.Bible – if available, please bring for all sessions

4.Writing materials -notebook, stationeries

5.Sports shoes AND slippers/sandals

6.Medication (for allergies or long term-medication. Or any supplements you need to stay alive. Note: illegal drugs not included) Also: INHALER. Please inform the committee beforehand if you have asthma or anything similar.
7.If you are bringing your phone along, please remember to bring the charger too.
8.A multi-plug extension will be useful in shared dorms.
9. Last but not least, don’t forget to bring yourself!

THINGS NOT TO BRING
1.Expensive jewellery
2.Inappropriate items (cigarettes, pornographic materials, poker cards, drugs, alcohol, etc)
· Should you be caught with any of the above, your parents will be called and take you home immediately
· Electronic devices (music players, DVD/VCD players, iPods, laptops) are strongly discouraged.

DOS AND DON’TS
1. Switch off your cell phones during all sessions.
2. Junk food is permitted as long as the wrappers are disposed of properly.
3. Respect and obey the teachers, camp committee members and seniors at all times.
4. Everything that you bring along with you is your own responsibility.
5. Be punctual for all sessions.
6. If for any reason, you are not able to attend sessions or any program, your absence must be informed to the group leader, dorm leader and the committee.

Alright. Now, for those of you who were absent for the CF Camp briefing last Friday, pls print out a copy of this confirmation letter ya!

Getting there

Hey guys great news, we have collected enough money to go ahead with the purchase of the 2 new speakers together with the stands. It will be first used in the CF camp this year, We will be setting up our very own system. Therefore I declare collection of Phase One completed, Praise GOD!

However, we can not start a full systems just yet! we need the microphones and wires as well. We are planning to purchase wireless microphones for our speakers and also stands and new microphones to replace some broken ones. This is estimated to cost an additional RM1500. We would like to encourage the students to participate this time round as the Phase One project was sponsored solely by seniors :)

DO you know that Malaysians are actually so bless we can always sign up for a conference or a rally even though you pass the closing Date? As some one part of the organizing team and an event organizer for the pass few years, I would like to see breakthrough in this area. I would like to see history being made in Subang Jaya. We believe we can have the chance to PUSH 400 people on the 11th of July that will be ready to change the face of Malaysia.

This is my prayer my appeal to you, I trust that we can we can and we can make history, why don't you sign up today. Hey guys, we are only 500 ringgit away to RM2000.00 We will buy our first sets of speakers first once we have the money, I encourage everyone to think about taking up this project personally. Lets do this for our future.

It is the time of the year for CF CAMP 2009, registration is already open for one week, and need all of you out there to SIGN UP NOW! this will be our 8Th year in running, and wow its just going to be the BOMB. We have been doing camps all these years because we believe that their is great potential for massive things to happen at camps.

A place where non believers will get to encounter their creator and make a decision, a place where healing can take place and a place that Christians wake up to their call. It is great is is massive it is huge. Lets get excited once again for the things of GOD. Lets get excited once again for things that aren't about the programmes, but lets do something because we want to see GOD move once again.
