Reaching Out

Hey guys! How are you all doing? January 2012 is already coming to an end. Another month passing by in mere seconds. Time really is short, huh? :(

Well, as Christians, how many of us are grabbing every opportunity we can to go out and spread God's Love to others? I recently read an awesome testimony on the Revo page about a girl named Heidi Quah who studies in SMK Damansara Jaya. I'll just give a brief synopsis about the story. In her testimony, she wrote about a friend whom she knew in Form 4. This friend of hers is an atheist (someone who does not believe in the existence of God). Throughout the year, they had countless debates on religion, him questioning about her faith and her finding answers to his questions. She prayed to God to guide her and help her to convince this friend of hers. As the months go by, this friend started to open up towards the idea of an existent God through her countless attempts to invite him for various Christian events. Praise God!! :D

Truly after reading her post, I'm convinced of God's involvement and intervention in her friend's life. As I sat wondering to myself, "How many of us would actually do that? How many of us would have the courage to share Christ to people who yet know?"

As Christians, we should reach out to others. Christians are called to love others and have compassion on them rather than cut ourselves from them and stay in our own cliques. After all, Jesus didn’t cut Himself off from us — in spite of our sin and rebellion.

The Bible says Jesus left heaven’s glory and walked among us, reaching out to those who needed to know God loved them.

We are called God's ambassadors for a reason. An ambassador is someone who is chosen to represent an object or a person. We are chosen to represent God.

Remember, it only takes one person to start a fire. As long as you share His word, by His grace, he will multiply it. :) Are we all ambassadors of Christ? Are we ready to pick up our crosses and take His hand?

Mr Tan's retirement day is coming soon! ):

we definitely gonna miss him. So lets come together to pray for Mr Tan and hope that God will direct his path as he moves on into his new chapter of life. alights? :D

As you all are enjoying your holidays, here's a scripture for you from Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will direct your paths.

So, even if you are in your midst of problems,

we pray that you would learn to uphold and trust God

that He would make a way in whatever you are facing. (:

You will never know that your next miracle could be the closest things to you.

And even thank Him for what He has already done in your life.

No, dear brothers and sisters, I am still not all I should be, but I am focusing all my energies on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I strain to reach the end of the race and receive the prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us up to heaven.

We hope and pray that this year, more lives will turn to Jesus, more lives will grow in Him, and more lives will strive to be like Him. Through Him, nothing is impossible.
