Subang Rally

21st June 2008. Amplified. The day that Subang Rally all started. Of course there was months of planning. Big applause to the committee of Subang Rally 2008 and our school reps. Right from the start now. The participants gathered and received their T-shirts and name tags as they registered. This year Subang Rally was held in Chee Wen in USJ1. The hall was only let open about 9.10.

The emcees intro themselves and did a rolecall. Go SUBANG UTAMA ! (; Soon it was time for a game. It's called the Wizard Chain Game. This is how it goes. There are wizards appointed in the large crowd of people. The wizards are suppose to go around tapping people and those who are tapped must link to the wizard anyhow. Either hold hands or link arms. The last man standing wins the game. Basically they have to run around avoiding the wizard.

There goes that 20 minutes of people running around here and there. When it was timed, Looks like a whole lot of people were left standing. They had to do something in order to win the price. Now im not gonna explain further on that.

Something special that went on during the rally. There was a decade album. A combination cd of PlanetShakers album. The last 3 known in Malaysia. How cool is that. So of course there was an auction for it. All day people been texting to bid. The highest bid was 260 and the cd was given during the concert.

Time for Praise and Worship ! The team was lead by Aaron Lui. Soon after P&W, a very important man was invited up. He's the chairholder of Chee Wen primary school. He's been supporting the Subang Rally all these years with his generosity. He's none other than Datuk Lee Hwa Beng !

Right after it was time for the word. The speaker comes all the way from Sunway, City Harvest Church. Yeah, very far right? He's very involved in the highschool ministry and been speaking in the Cf's in schools. A big hand to ABEL TEH ! He spoke about Friendship. Are there more than 5 people you share everything to like a best friend? What breaks down friendships? Is there really a real friend for you out there? A real friend that will never leave you nor forsake you, one who knows your name and every single hair on your head, the one who loves you than he'd sacrifice his only son for you, that's God above (:

The speaker had an altar call after that. In conjunction, the session ended late and the schedule was held back. Lunch went on and we had a mixture of mee and meehoon. Everyone was back in the hall at 12.45. Here comes Session 2 !

A welcome back session by the emcees. We had a short MONEY GAME. The guys were made to be 20 cents while the girls 50 cents. The faster group to get the amount we call out wins. Let's say we call out for 2.70 ! So about 5girls and a guy / 6guys, 3 girls / etc have to group together.

The session moved on with Praise and Worship. John Chew led the crowd. Everyone was ready to receive from God. Our next speaker came all the way from FGA Taiping. He's a man very gifted in the Holy Spirit. A very warm welcome to Pastor Bernard Teh. If Chee Wen is big, how bout Pyramid? If pyramid is big, how bout the blue whale? If the blue whale is big, how bout the earth? If the earth is big, how bout the sun? If the sun is big, how bout the universe? And if the universe is big, how big is our God? And the bible says, He holds the universe in his hands.

The time for altar call, Pastor called for the committe members to come up on the stage and he anointed their hands. Then all of them went down to pray for people. Who came out to receive prayer and the holy spirit's anointing. Many of them wept and was slained.

After the altar call, Scripture Union went up to speak about Bible Knowledge and the importance of sitting for the exam. A short video clip was shown. The time has come for the session to end. Some people left Chee Wen while some stayed for the workshops. The few workshops was led by

Unfortunately everyone could only choose one and not attend all. Dinner was served to those who attend the workshops only.

The time for NIGHT CONCERT ! We can feel the heat (: There goes our emcees with their lame jokes. Free gifts were given away. And everyone was excited to see the Battle of the Bands Asia winner perform. BUS COMPANY ! 3 songs were performed. Everyone was heated up to our next importance on schedule.

Praise and Worship ! The team was led by David and Erika. Bringing the bomb n the house. The crowd was sweating and full of energy. After that was a testimony by 2 American citizens. One which suffers from HIV and came just to share about her experiences.

Time for word came and our speaker is the very engaging and high spirited youth pastor of Acts Church, the lead singer of Altered Frequency, Pastor Andy Yeoh ! Somehow his message had a little similarity to the skies and universe and how big God is but in the way of How fast light travels.

Of course there was another session of altarcall too and the wrap up our Subang Rally has come. A great appreciation to all the commitee members and teacher advisors of Subang Rally Amplified. Our Organizing Chairman Lydia gave a short speech. And as a wrap up, SEE YOU NEXT YEAR AT SUBANG RALLY 2009 !
