Form 5 Farewell Party!

Hey people!

Well, the form 5 farewell party was held and it was great wasn't it??

For those who came, thank you so much for coming! But for those who wasn't able to join us, well, dun be sad. *or you should "be" feeling sad* We'll still share some of our joy with you through pictures :)

Road guide

For those who are having trouble on directions to Esther's place, here are some pointers :

Turn down the highway heading towards KL and keep to your left.

Look out for the Subang Airport signboard and turn left heading towards the old airport.

Keep going straight all the way until you see a fly over. (Don't go on it, instead go underneath it)

You will reach a traffic light, on your left is Saujana. Turn right heading into Ara Damansara (Don't take the U turn)

Keep right along this way and turn right when you reach a Y junction.

Keep going straight until you arrive at a crossroads and keep going straight.

You will pass the first phase of Semi D, then on your left will be a gated community of bungalows.

When you arrive at Jalan PJU 1A/31A, turn left.

Keep to your left all the way and go straight.

Turn left at the first turning

And TADAA ! You made it.


PS: If you still have problems on getting there, we can arrange for some of us to meet in school first then we'll go together.

Form 5 Farewell

There will be an event coming up !

The last CF event for the year, organized especially for our beloved Form 5's. So spread the word, spread the message, spread butter on your bread and invite all the Form 5's you know to attend ! Confirm your attendance to Siong Ann or Esther as written on the flier so that we can roughly know the amount of food to bring and the amount of people we should be waiting for before starting the event.

Great to see the many reponses being made regarding Ms.Tan's wedding and also the lots of happening in the CBox lately! Keep it up guys, we need to make this place happening to start attracting our friends to check us out over here, Amen?

Now, the CF Editorial Board is working on it's biggest project of the year. We decided to publish a CF Newsletter! Well, Great news it is, but it's not going to happen just on the efforts of Joyce and myself! Therefore, we will need you to play a part in this and make this happen! Cools?

I will need the all CF members to play a part in this, well the Form 5s can be excluded in this FOR THE MEAN TIME due to their SPM. However, the Form 3 and Form 4s, we will really need you guys to start squeezing your brain cells and just get out some hot, juicy :

public transportation guide !

Dear CFers,

Thank you very much for all the well wishes and desire to come for my special day. I can give you all the directions to my church by public transport etc but am afraid of your safety as you have to do a little bit of walking. PJ is not so safe nowadays. Please come as a group or a gerombolan. Much safer like that.

Anyhow, I will just let you know how to get there.

1) Take the Kelana Jaya LRT to Asia Jaya.

2) Take bus T628 and stop at SRK Sri Damai (website of Rapid KL attached)

3) Get off the bus and you will see a cross junction. SRK Sri Damai is on your right. A Chinese kindergarten should be in front of you. Walk towards the left of SRK Sri Damai until the end of the road. It's about 200meters. You will come to a main road and see my church there situated on top of a slope at Jln 17/21E

OR please take a cab. Much safer hopefully. When going back, please do not hesitate to get a lift from my family members or church members.

If taking public transport home:-

1) From the main door of my church, walk towards the right side of the main road and down the slope.

2) Walk until the end of the road where you will come to a junction.

3) At the junction, you will see a bus stop not too far away.

4) Go to the bus stop and wait there for any Rapid KL bus. Ask them to take you to the nearest LRT station which will be the Kelana Jaya LRT.

5) From there, go back the same way as you came.

Raya holidays is coming to an end. Are you people ready? Pmr is comming. Well this post is basically to encourage you in your exams. So, Form 3's Its the last week for you all to study. Do you remember how to do maths question? Do you remember your novel things? Do you remember your Geography? Do you Remember your sejarah? This are those important things in your pmr will come out. Well its just a test and this is what i've learn before. A test is a test, it wont kill you, it wont make you weak, But make you stronger, better, smarter and so on. So go ahead and sit for this pmr and get all those good result. Remember, Always Glorify God whenever you can.

Selamat Hari Raya.

Its holidays, for malaysian once again. Yeah! i know many people here are happy that its holiday. Esp. Form 1 2 and 4. Although the others have their Major exams this year. Take this time of advantage. Take it and study hard Spend your final moment with your time using it wisely, Form 3's. This might be your final moment to change your fate. Take crash courses, tuitions anything that can refine your skills. And dont forget, always surrender everything to God. That is what i did last year for my pmr. And i'm really satisfied with my resutls. And as for the form 5's I heard that you peoples have to resit for your trials, but dont you think is a blessing? You get to refine your skills once again before you sit for your SPM. Well as for the form 1 2 and 4, take this holiday and start studying, We have our exams soon.

A very important word that was highlighted today is

Success

Define success

Success has nothing to do with outward appearances. Just because you have a pretty or handsome face it won't mean you're successful.

Who do you think is SUCCESSFUL?

Your parents? Aunty? Uncle? Simon Cowell?

Do you consider yourself successful?

Yes? No? I don't know?
Sons and daughters of God are not failures. You're a precious child of God. When God is with you then you'll be successful. When you fail and rise up again, its successful. Lets read from a verse in the B I B L E

Joshua 1:5-9
No one will be able to stand up against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you. "Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their forefathers to give them. Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have i not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.


So Daniel went to Indonesia sometime back. Everything there was filthy and there was no proper place to live. They had to bathe in the river and that is where everyone pass motion too ! So it was a tough time for him.

BE BOLD !!

Lets look at Job's life. This man was blameless and upright; he feared God and shunned evil. He was the greatest man among all the people of the East. So one day Satan decides to strike him and put him to the test. God allows it to happen but He must spare Job's life. Even when all his crops and flocks were attacked and swept away, even when his sons and daughters were swept away by the mighty wind, he fell to the ground in worship and said:

Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked I will depart. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised.

In all things Praise The Lord


God's definition of success
To compare between Job and Joshua, both equally God fearing and a Man of God. BUT ! There's a difference between Job and Joshua.

In Job 42:15, God blessed Job back in the end. No where in all the land were there found women as beautiful as Job's daughters, and their father granted them an inheritance along with their brothers. Joshua on the other hand did not pass down an inheritance !

Its not about you. Its about the generation to come. YOUR generation to come.You would want people to talk about you to glorify God. A generation that continue to glorify him and please him.

With this, be successful. Leave an inheritance !

Sorry everybody for the late post this week ~_~ really got into something where i forgot to post this post.

As everybody know, This week CF we have our special guest. And who it is? Its our ex President of CFSMKSU 2006 Chu Joshua.

So basically what did he share on cf?
"Something is wrong with this world"
Yes do you people notice something different in the CF? Something different in the school? Well something is wrong with this world.
By making a stand you can do something, e.g ushering for CF every week, you might be a head usher next year? Or even lifting up the tables and chair every week, you might be the head grounds? You can be one if you just make a stand =).

Do you realize that every year we have our Easter Rally? Do you people actually count how many people actually attend that event? Well for what we know the number is decreasing! Not Increasing! Whats Wrong?
If we want to have an event, we must make it a BLAST. Whats an event without any motive? Just another day like everyday we go school. It will be boring?

In the bible said,In Matthew 5:13
13"You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men.
We must actually work this verse out, by giving your all! example Do not miss CF! or your church just because of tuition. If you had a choice which one will you Choose? GOD? or Earthly Things? You decide.

The verse of the week will be
Joshua 24:12-14
12 I sent the hornet ahead of you, which drove them out before you—also the two Amorite kings. You did not do it with your own sword and bow.13 So I gave you a land on which you did not toil and cities you did not build; and you live in them and eat from vineyards and olive groves that you did not plant.'14 "Now fear the LORD and serve him with all faithfulness. Throw away the gods your forefathers worshiped beyond the River and in Egypt, and serve the LORD.

T;his week in CF, Rueben Pak shared ! The word is on Importance of sharing Christ. What will you do when you have ten million bucks? A big question to ponder on. Would you go shopping? Buy the latest handphone? Or would you use it for the furtherance of God's kingdom? Like help the CF, help the church and help the poor.

Every moment you have is a gift from God. You must spend it wisely and reach out to people. (Acts 1:8 But you will recieve power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.)

We should start in our school itself. We have friends all around. At the end of the day at least we tried. Better than not trying at all and regret one day. We only live through high school once.

Matthew 28:19
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

Not only we should win souls but we have to disciple them. Remember to keep in touch with your partners and keep each other on track.

WHAT HAPPENED ON THE FIRST OF SEPTEMBER??
SEE YOU AT THE POLE !

This year, See You At The pole was held on the 1st of September instead of Independance Day like the other years because Merdeka falls on a Sunday this year. Eventhough its a holiday, a very proud attendance i must say. The event kicked off with an icebreaker by the emcee's Jennifer and Ken Jiu. The "shoe" game which lasted about 10 minutes.

Then it was a time of praise and worship led by Rueben Pak. Even with the minor disruptions, praise God the worship session went out well. Next was a short sharing by Mr Jacob and he clearly says that History is important because the Bible is part of history !

Our prayer session was up next on the schedule and representatives came out one by one to pray for the different states in Malaysia. Not forgetting out prayer walk to pray for the school, which was led by 5 different group leaders. When everyone gathered back in the classrooms, we praised God once more with One Way and off we went to MAKAN.

Time for Ken Jiu to start kicking my own butt and start working instate of slacking xD

So once again, i have to start posting what happened on cf. like Joyce posted Liang Was Here!
And he gave a Lovely pose for people who are a fan of himYes he came and speak to us =D and i've written down what he have said T______T dont know where the other guy suppose to do went and slack somewhere,Mr Jacob gave him a theme and the theme is "Experience in the music industry"
The story start with like this, I was born in a town of Klang where I live a life that is not other then pork everyday with 9 sibblings!
i am a Pasar Malam Boy who sells item and nobody knows me at all, its like this whenever you go buy your items in pasar malam do you know the seller do you know his name? Well Liang was that type of person, doing for a living but not known well. So all i wanted to do is Sing thats what Liang said, and so life goes on with Liang and one day, he went to a confrence and Juwita Suwito was there and asked Liang to compose a song for her in a christmas party. So Liang dont deny and just do the job, That is the start of his life.If god can use a sheperd boy and make him King of Isreal? What can god cant do for us? Our life is just like an Equation, everything we do end up we will be going to a goal like
ax+bx+c=0 where ax+bx+c is factor of life and 0 is the goal, But the equation is not as easy as it looks, To get our goal we need Potential. God has a Plan for everyone all you have to do is ask God for help in your life, Whenever you are stuck in your equation seek him humblely and he will give you a mind blasting experience to solve it, And do you have a dream? a dream to be a singer a dance or whatever? These dream can be a miricle in life is to ask God for it. Trust him and worship him as he will bring you the best way to your goal

I remember this phrase last year, it is
"God is like a bow, and we are like an arrow. Whenever God put you into a test, God actually pull you backwords, So when God actually release we will have a great leap just like an arrow and a bow"

Today is kinda like a few weeks ago which is Cell Group.
What this all about? its about Matthew 25


1"At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2Five of them were foolish and five were wise. 3The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. 4The wise, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. 5The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep.

6"At midnight the cry rang out: 'Here's the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!'

7"Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. 8The foolish ones said to the wise, 'Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.'

9" 'No,' they replied, 'there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.'

Then he went on his journey. 16The man who had received the five talents went at once and put his money to work and gained five more. 17So also, the one with the two talents gained two more. 18But the man who had received the one talent went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid his master's money.

19"After a long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them. 20The man who had received the five talents brought the other five. 'Master,' he said, 'you entrusted me with five talents. See, I have gained five more.'

21"His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!'

22"The man with the two talents also came. 'Master,' he said, 'you entrusted me with two talents; see, I have gained two more.'

23"His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!'

24"Then the man who had received the one talent came. 'Master,' he said, 'I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting where you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed. 25So I was afraid and went out and hid your talent in the ground. See, here is what belongs to you.'

26"His master replied, 'You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed? 27Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest.

28" 'Take the talent from him and give it to the one who has the ten talents. 29For everyone who has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him. 30And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'

The Sheep and the Goats

31"When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory. 32All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.

34"Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.'

37"Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'

40"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'

41"Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.'

44"They also will answer, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?'

45"He will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.'

46"Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life."

Base on Whats written in the book what do we think clearly states?Why do Jesus strain so much on this parable to help someone? We are saved by faith,but we need to help others out of love, not to gain righteousness.Lastly Paul encourages us:
"Live Everyday As Through Christ Will Be Coming On Any Day!

Holidays!

Again, it's holidays!!! Yep yep, this time around, please use it wisely people, every single minute in a holiday counts, it's very important!!! Especially to those that are facing major exams like PMR and SPM, take this time to study!

Anyway, let's not forget about God during this time too. Though we can't meet up for prayer meeting at this period of time (Sad right? T.T) please continue to pray for the nation! As the 40 days Prayer and Fast go on, keep Malaysia in your prayers everyday! To those that are fasting, great! Keep it up, but do remember to pray when you fast, if not it would only be like a diet. Also, echoing what Mr.Jacob always says, please get a book to read, a Christian book, to read and be inspired!

Besides, you can also join some camps, seminars or even a conference! Yep, Revolution Conference is happening this Thursday till Saturday. Note: I am not trying to promote church or what so ever, but I believe that this is GOOD stuff that I had to share with you people. Revolution doesn't belong to specific or certain churches, I believe ALL Christians should MOVE it. Those that attended "Passion", "Planet Shakers" or even "Hillsong" conferences, great! BUT, those are not HOME GROWN. Why do we need people OUTSIDE to start the change in us, shouldn't we respond to the call that is started by US Malaysians?

Today was Merdeka and Kokurikulum Celebration in school. Most of the students didnt come to school. Hence, there was not many people who attended CF. Therefore ( wa cheyh so formal. THEREFORE) there was Cell Group this week ! It was led by Paul. We took turns to read the parable from Matthew 25 and it really comes back to what Mr Jacob has been saying throughout the week.

Lets start with What We Learn In CF Today =)
1) What is PERSECUTION to you?
In the Dictionary it means: Harassment and suffering which people and institutions inflict upon others for being different in thier faith, world view,culture or race.
It seeks to intimidate, silence, punish or even to kill people

What happened next is teacher ask two volunteers to act out a scene, where the "principle" is Joshua and the student is yusof =)
Joshua is really acting it out and woah really make a blast to him until he was scared of joshua x)

Kenz Weekly Updates on CF

Well here's again for another week on Kenz Update =)

Here goes the day,
Everything went as usual, Grounds, Usher and even the praise and worship.So the thing that is special on that day is, "The President Speaks"
Yeap is true That our Jimmy Ong speaks for the day, and these are what is in his sermons -:
Are you right with God? Check yourself! These are Examples how King David go with God's way
1) Worship The Lord For What Circumstances
(No matter sunny day,rainy day, stormy day or even your bad day Just worship the Lord)
2) Acknowledge the Lord For His Successes
(Like your exams, if u get an A just acknowledge him =3 )
3) Repentance in his Failure
(Basically repent for what you've done wrong)

And here are some few verse that Jimmy gave
Ephesians 4:25-30
25Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to his neighbor, for we are all members of one body.26"In your anger do not sin"27and do not give the devil a foothold. 28He who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with his own hands, that he may have something to share with those in need.29Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.30And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
